Not Making Progress Fast Enough? This Could Be Why

21 August 2018

Are you feeling impatient because you want to make quicker progress in life? After all, you are a highly creative person who is co-creating with the forces of the universe. Why isn’t it going faster?

You’ve probably explored all of the law of attraction stuff, and most likely you’re putting it into practice. You visualize. You meditate. You work on your blocks and beliefs. And still you haven’t made it as far as you feel like you need to go.

If you’re not making progress fast enough, you might be pushing too hard.

I know it seems counterintuitive to push less when you want more. But even if you’re just working extra hard at staying on a path that you think you should follow, you may actually be throwing yourself off course.

Not sure what I’m talking about? Take a moment to tune into the progress that you desire. How does your body feel? Did your breathing stop? Are your muscles tight? If so, you’re pushing too hard.

Did you know that you have all the creative power you need to attract your hearts desires to you? There’s a resonance in your heart that does the work for you. But here’s the catch…

You have to relax, trust, and be in your heart!

Imagine that you’re in a chauffeur-driven limousine that’s taking you to your destination. All you have to do is look out the window and enjoy the ride. The driver knows where you’re going, because you indicated your desires in the beginning.

Metaphorically speaking, when you push too hard (even if it’s with your mind), you interfere with how the driver is driving. You may try to take the wheel or backseat drive. This creates a lot of distraction and chaos. And ultimately your arrival to your destination may be delayed or detoured.

This analogy is often used in Human Design circles to explain how we’re designed to move through life with less resistance. Your body is the vehicle. Your heart resonance is the driver. Your mental thinking and higher-minded self is the passenger.

Your mind is capable of creating awesomely inspirational ideas. But it’s important to remember that you can’t manifest those ideas into form when you’re not fully embodied and living from the heart. Your Human Design blueprint reveals how you’re hardwired to live in your body in a way that allows you to relax, be in your heart, and still make progress in your life.
